TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: June 2026 · DX Aviation Detailing · dxaviationdetailing.ca
1. Services
DX Aviation Detailing provides mobile aircraft appearance detailing services including exterior washing, interior cleaning, ceramic coating, paint correction, brightwork polishing, de-ice boot care, and leather restoration. Our services are appearance-related only and do not constitute aviation maintenance, repair, or airworthiness functions as defined by Transport Canada regulations.
2. Booking and Cancellation
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation message from DX Aviation Detailing. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time to avoid a cancellation fee. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be subject to a fee equivalent to 50% of the quoted service cost.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule service due to adverse weather conditions (freezing rain, active precipitation, extreme cold below -20°C), unsafe ramp conditions, or force majeure events. In such cases, we will reschedule at no additional cost.
3. Aircraft Condition Documentation
We photograph all aircraft surfaces before and after each service. This documentation is for the protection of both parties. DX Aviation Detailing accepts no liability for pre-existing damage, scratches, chips, or defects that are documented in the pre-service photographs. Any damage claims must be raised at the time of service completion and documented before the DX Aviation team departs the ramp.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept e-transfer, credit card, and cash. Corporate accounts and fleet programs are offered on net-30 terms subject to a credit approval process. Outstanding invoices beyond 30 days may be subject to a late payment fee of 1.5% per month.
5. Liability Limitation
Our liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages. Our liability does not extend to loss of use of the aircraft, missed flights, or financial losses arising from service scheduling.
6. Aircraft Access
The client or an authorized representative must arrange FBO ramp access for the DX Aviation team. We do not enter aircraft cabins without express permission from the owner or authorized crew member. We do not operate aircraft or move aircraft for any reason.
7. Products and Materials
We use aviation-appropriate detailing products. If you have specific product restrictions for your aircraft (e.g., manufacturer restrictions on certain chemicals for composite surfaces, de-ice boot chemistry requirements), you must inform us at time of booking. We will accommodate documented restrictions at our reasonable discretion.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec City, Quebec.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
